  • I provide assessment, diagnosis and management of a range of psychiatric and psychological conditions. This may include brief interventions or ongoing care depending on your needs and preferences.

    Please note this is not an ADHD clinic. Assessment of Neurodiveristy can be made in the broader context of psychiatic assessment, diagnosis and treatment of my clients.

    If you are specifically seeking an ADHD diagnosis I suggest seeking assistance with an alternate professional.

  • Please ensure you have a valid referral from your GP or specailist. This ensures you are eligible for medicare rebates.

    A specialist referral lasts 3 months, a referral from your GP can be made for 12 months or indefinately.

    Please ensure your referral is sent to my reception team and you will be contacted with available times.

    Please ensure your referrer includes any current and past treatment, and relevant investigations or reports in your referral.

    My consulting days are Mondays and Fridays, however reception is available throughout the working week.

  • Fees for appointments will depend on your appointment length. My friendly reception staff can provide you with financial consent and information about billing and payments.

    This is a non-bulk-billing clinic and therefore there are out-of pocket costs associated with appointments.

    All appointments are Medicare rebatable. Please see the ‘Medicare rebate section’ to further understand out-of-pocket costs.

  • All appointments are eligible for a Medicare rebate. My reception staff can inform you about upfront and out-pocket-costs following rebate.

  • Cancellation of appointments 7 days or more prior to the scheduled appointment time incur no cancellation cost.

    Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the scheduled appointment will incur a $100 fee unless rescheduled within one months* time.

    Rescheduling of the cancelled appointment on more than 3 occasions will incur a $100 fee.

    This cancellation policy has been made with long waitlists and the care of others in mind.

  • As part of my consultation I routinely use Heidi health to assist me in taking notes. Heidi is an ambient scribe service allowing me to devote all my attention to you during sessions. I then review the notes generated before adding them to your medical record.

    Prior to our first visit I will gain your consent to use Heidi Health. If you would prefer that I do not use Heidi during our session please let me know. You may withdraw your consent to use Heidi at any time.

  • The consulting suite is located on the north-west corner of The Melbourne Clinic building on Bromham Pl. From the main entry of The Melbourne Clinic (on Tweedie Pl) head west onto Bromham Pl and enter consulting suite 1 and 2.

    Suites are accessible via public transport and car:

    • West Richmond train station

    • Trams routes 48, 78, 75

    • Parking is availble on surrounding streets or in The Melbourne Clinic car park (entry on Tweedie Pl).

  • My recommendation and preference is that we meet in-person. This is especially important for our initial appointment. I understand however, that this is not always possible and therefore do offer telehealth appointments. If the circumstance arises where you can no longer make an in-person appointment, there is no fee difference between in-person appointment vs telehealth appointments.

    Please inform reception of any telehealth preference or change well in advance of your appointment time.
